فِي الْكَرَامَةِ بِدُبَيَّ مَهْرَجَانٌ لِلطَّعَامِ. هَذَا خَبَرٌ مِنْ مَارِسَ فِي عَامِ ٢٠٢٥. كَانَ الْمَهْرَجَانُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ. وَكَانَتْ هَذِهِ الدَّوْرَةُ الثَّالِثَةَ مِنَ الْمَهْرَجَانِ. يَأْتِي النَّاسُ إِلَى الْحَيِّ فِي الْمَسَاءِ. فِي الشَّارِعِ أَكْشَاكٌ وَمَطَاعِمُ تَبِيعُ الطَّعَامَ. وَتَبْقَى الْمَطَاعِمُ مَفْتُوحَةً إِلَى وَقْتٍ مُتَأَخِّرٍ. فِي الْمَهْرَجَانِ أَطْعِمَةٌ مِنْ جَنُوبِ آسِيَا. بَعْضُ الْأَطْبَاقِ مِنْ شَمَالِ الْهِنْدِ وَبَعْضُهَا مِنْ جَنُوبِهَا. هُنَاكَ أَرُزٌّ وَدَجَاجٌ وَأَطْبَاقٌ مُخْتَلِفَةٌ. وَهُنَاكَ شَايٌ وَعَصِيرٌ وَمُثَلَّجَاتٌ أَيْضًا. تَعْرِضُ بَعْضُ الْأَكْشَاكِ سَمْبُوسَةً وَمَانْجُو مُخَلَّلًا. يَجِدُ الزَّائِرُ أَنْوَاعًا كَثِيرَةً مِنَ الطَّعَامِ. لَيْسَ كُلُّ الزُّوَّارِ مِنْ دُبَيَّ. جَاءَ زُوَّارٌ مِنْ أَبُوظَبِي وَالشَّارِقَةِ أَيْضًا. وَجَاءَ زُوَّارٌ مِنْ أَمَاكِنَ أُخْرَى إِلَى الْحَيِّ. كَانَ حَدِيثُ الْعَامِلِينَ عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الزُّوَّارِ. وَوَصَفَ الْخَبَرُ حَرَكَةَ النَّاسِ فِي الشَّوَارِعِ لَيْلًا. كَانَ يَوْمُ ٢٣ مَارِسَ آخِرَ يَوْمٍ فِي الْخُطَّةِ. يَعْرِضُ هَذَا الْخَبَرُ جَانِبًا مِنْ حَيَاةِ الْحَيِّ. فِيهِ طَعَامٌ وَمَطَاعِمُ وَزُوَّارٌ مِنْ أَمَاكِنَ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ.
In Dubai's Karama neighbourhood there is a food festival. This is a report from March 2025. The festival was during the month of Ramadan. This was the third edition of the festival. People come to the neighbourhood in the evening. In the street there are stalls and restaurants selling food. The restaurants stay open until late. There are foods from South Asia at the festival. Some dishes are from northern India and some from the south. There are rice, chicken, and different dishes. There are also tea, juice, and ice cream. Some stalls offer samosas and pickled mango. A visitor finds many kinds of food. Not all the visitors are from Dubai. Visitors also came from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Visitors came to the neighbourhood from other places too.
