About Nusoos
A graded reading platform for Arabic learners
Nusoos (نصوص, "texts") is a reading platform for Arabic learners. We believe the best way to learn a language is to read — real texts, at the right level, with the right support.
The Problem
Most Arabic learning tools focus on speaking drills or grammar tables. Reading — the skill that unlocks news, literature, and real-world Arabic — gets left behind. Learners are stuck choosing between children's books and Al Jazeera, with nothing in between.
What Nusoos Does
We built a reading platform with 35 original texts across 7 CEFR levels (A0–C1), with ACTFL and ILR equivalents shown for reference. Every text comes with an interactive dictionary, grammar breakdowns, full diacritics control, and comprehension exercises. Tap any word to see its meaning, root, and part of speech.
What's Next
We're in beta, working to grow our text library and improve the platform based on learner feedback. Our goal: a structured Arabic reading companion you can use as your skills grow.
