فِي مَدِينَةِ مَكَّةَ الْمُكَرَّمَةِ، يَعْرِضُ مَتْحَفُ الْقُرْآنِ الْكَرِيمِ فِي حَيِّ حِرَاءَ الثَّقَافِيِّ صَفْحَةً نَادِرَةً مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ. تَعُودُ هَذِهِ الْمَخْطُوطَةُ إِلَى الْقَرْنِ الثَّالِثِ الْهِجْرِيِّ، أَيِ الْقَرْنِ التَّاسِعِ الْمِيلَادِيِّ. وَتَضُمُّ جُزْءًا مِنْ سُورَةِ مَرْيَمَ، كُتِبَ بِمِدَادٍ أَحْمَرَ عَلَى الرِّقِّ. وَيَخْلُو النَّصُّ مِنَ الشَّكْلِ وَالنَّقْطِ، وَهَذِهِ سِمَةٌ مِنْ سِمَاتِ بَعْضِ الْمَصَاحِفِ الْمُبَكِّرَةِ. يَتَعَلَّمُ الزُّوَّارُ فِي الْمَتْحَفِ كَيْفَ تَطَوَّرَتْ كِتَابَةُ الْمُصْحَفِ عَبْرَ الْقُرُونِ. وَيَعْرِضُ الْمَتْحَفُ مَخْطُوطَاتٍ قَدِيمَةً فِي قَاعَاتٍ حَدِيثَةٍ، وَيَسْتَخْدِمُ تِقْنِيَّاتٍ تَفَاعُلِيَّةً تُسَاعِدُهُمْ عَلَى فَهْمِ الْمَعْلُومَاتِ بِسُهُولَةٍ. عِنْدَمَا يَزُورُ الطَّالِبُ الْمَتْحَفَ، يَرَى مَرَاحِلَ كِتَابَةِ الْمُصْحَفِ وَحِفْظِهِ، وَيَتَعَرَّفُ عَلَى مَوَادِّ الْكِتَابَةِ وَالْخُطُوطِ الْقَدِيمَةِ. وَقَدْ تَكُونُ الزِّيَارَةُ تَجْرِبَةً تَعْلِيمِيَّةً مُؤَثِّرَةً؛ لِأَنَّهَا تَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْقِطْعَةِ التَّارِيخِيَّةِ وَالشَّرْحِ الْحَدِيثِ. لَيْسَ الْمَتْحَفُ مَكَانًا لِعَرْضِ الْقِطَعِ الْقَدِيمَةِ فَقَطْ، بَلْ هُوَ مَرْكَزٌ تَعْلِيمِيٌّ أَيْضًا. وَيُعَدُّ حَيُّ حِرَاءَ الثَّقَافِيُّ وِجْهَةً ثَقَافِيَّةً لِزُوَّارِ مَكَّةَ الْمُهْتَمِّينَ بِتَارِيخِ الْكِتَابَةِ وَالْمَخْطُوطَاتِ.
