يَاسْمِينَة بَاشَا غَوَّاصَةٌ سُعُودِيَّةٌ مِنْ جُدَّةَ. كَانَتْ يَاسْمِينَةُ مُحَاسِبَةً. وَالْيَوْمَ هِيَ مُدَرِّبَةُ غَوْصٍ، وَعِنْدَهَا رُخْصَتَانِ دُوَلِيَّتَانِ. كَانَ أَبُوهَا، رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ، بَحَّارًا. وَعَاشَتْ عَائِلَتُهَا قَرِيبًا مِنَ الْبَحْرِ دَائِمًا. قَبْلَ ثَمَانِي سَنَوَاتٍ جَرَّبَتْ يَاسْمِينَةُ الْغَوْصَ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ. وَأَحَبَّتْهُ كَثِيرًا مُنْذُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ. كَانَ وَالِدَاهَا ضِدَّ الْغَوْصِ. فِي رَأْيِهِمَا هُوَ هِوَايَةٌ خَطِيرَةٌ. قَبْلَ ثَلَاثِ سَنَوَاتٍ بَدَأَتْ يَاسْمِينَةُ تُدَرِّبُ النِّسَاءَ. تُدَرِّبُ نِسَاءً عَرَبِيَّاتٍ وَآسْيَوِيَّاتٍ وَأُورُوبِّيَّاتٍ. أَعْمَارُهُنَّ مِنْ عَشْرِ سَنَوَاتٍ إِلَى تِسْعٍ وَخَمْسِينَ سَنَةً. وَتَقُولُ يَاسْمِينَةُ: الْيَوْمَ تُمَارِسُ النِّسَاءُ كُلَّ الرِّيَاضَاتِ بِحُرِّيَّةٍ. وَعَدَدُ الْغَوَّاصِينَ وَالْغَوَّاصَاتِ فِي السُّعُودِيَّةِ زَادَ كَثِيرًا. مُدَّةُ دَوْرَةِ الْغَوْصِ مِنْ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ إِلَى سَبْعَةِ أَيَّامٍ، حَسَبَ الْمُدَرِّبِ. وَسِعْرُهَا مِنْ سِتِّمِئَةِ رِيَالٍ إِلَى أَلْفَيْ رِيَالٍ. فِي الْبَحْرِ الْأَحْمَرِ قُرْبَ جُدَّةَ شِعَابٌ مُرْجَانِيَّةٌ جَمِيلَةٌ جِدًّا. وَتُفَضِّلُ يَاسْمِينَةُ الْغَوْصَ مِنَ الْقَارِبِ فِي الْأَمَاكِنِ الْبَعِيدَةِ وَالْهَادِئَةِ. الْبَحْرُ خَطِيرٌ أَحْيَانًا، وَيَاسْمِينَةُ تُحِبُّ الْمُغَامَرَةَ، لَكِنَّهَا تَهْتَمُّ بِالْأَمَانِ. وَهِيَ تَقْتَرِبُ مِنَ الْأَسْمَاكِ الْخَطِيرَةِ، وَلَا تُزْعِجُهَا. وَتَقُولُ: كُلُّ يَوْمٍ فِي السَّنَةِ يَوْمٌ جَيِّدٌ لِلْغَوْصِ. تُرِيدُ يَاسْمِينَةُ أَنْ تَغُوصَ مِئَةَ مِتْرٍ تَحْتَ الْمَاءِ. وَتُرِيدُ أَنْ تُدَرِّبَ مُدَرِّبِينَ مِنْ كُلِّ الْعَالَمِ. وَتُرِيدُ أَيْضًا مَرْكَزَ غَوْصٍ خَاصًّا بِهَا.
