أَبْهَا مَدِينَةٌ فِي الْجِبَالِ، فِي جَنُوبِ غَرْبِ السُّعُودِيَّةِ. وَهِيَ فِي مِنْطَقَةِ عَسِيرٍ. الْجَوُّ فِي الْمِنْطَقَةِ مُعْتَدِلٌ فِي الصَّيْفِ، وَفِيهَا مَطَرٌ. لِذَلِكَ يَأْتِي إِلَيْهَا زُوَّارٌ كَثِيرُونَ مِنْ كُلِّ مَنَاطِقِ الْمَمْلَكَةِ. وَهُنَاكَ يَبْتَعِدُونَ عَنْ حَرِّ الصَّيْفِ. وَفَوْقَ جِبَالِ أَبْهَا مَمْشًى طَوِيلٌ، اسْمُهُ مَمْشَى الضَّبَابِ. الْمَمْشَى فِي حَيِّ الضَّبَابِ. وَهُوَ يُطِلُّ عَلَى جِبَالِ تِهَامَةَ. طُولُ الْمَمْشَى سَبْعَةُ كِيلُومِتْرَاتٍ. وَعَرْضُهُ أَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ مِتْرًا. وَهُوَ مُرْتَفِعٌ فَوْقَ الْأَرْضِ. فِي الْمَمْشَى أَمَاكِنُ لِلْجُلُوسِ. وَفِيهِ أَلْعَابٌ لِلْأَطْفَالِ. وَفِيهِ مَطَاعِمُ وَمَسَاحَاتٌ خَضْرَاءُ. تَأْتِي الْعَائِلَاتُ وَالْأَصْدِقَاءُ إِلَى الْمَمْشَى. يَمْشُونَ عَلَيْهِ وَيَجْلِسُونَ فِي الْجَوِّ الْمُعْتَدِلِ، وَيَرَوْنَ مِنْهُ مَنَاظِرَ جَمِيلَةً لِلْجِبَالِ. وَأَحْيَانًا يُغَطِّي الضَّبَابُ الْمَمْشَى. فَيَشْعُرُ الزَّائِرُ أَنَّهُ يَمْشِي بَيْنَ الْغُيُومِ.
Abha is a city in the mountains, in the south-west of Saudi Arabia. It is in the Asir region. The weather in the region is mild in summer, and it has rain. So, many visitors come to it from all parts of the Kingdom. And there they get away from the summer heat. And on top of Abha’s mountains there is a long walkway; its name is the Fog Walkway. The walkway is in the Al-Dabab district. And it overlooks the Tihama mountains. The length of the walkway is seven kilometres. And its width is fourteen metres. And it is raised above the ground. On the walkway there are places to sit. And it has play areas for children. And it has restaurants and green spaces. Families and friends come to the walkway. They walk on it and sit in the mild weather, and from it they see beautiful views of the mountains. Sometimes the fog covers the walkway. Then a visitor feels he is walking among the clouds.
