هَذَا مَحَلٌّ لِلْخِيَاطَةِ فِي دُبَيَّ. وَصَاحِبَةُ الْمَحَلِّ امْرَأَةٌ. الْمَحَلُّ فِي مِنْطَقَةِ دَيْرَةَ. وَيَعْمَلُ فِيهِ ثَمَانِيَةُ خَيَّاطِينَ. يَأْتِي عِيدُ الْفِطْرِ بَعْدَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ. وَفِي الْعِيدِ يَلْبَسُ النَّاسُ الْمَلَابِسَ الْجَدِيدَةَ. وَبَعْضُهُمْ يَطْلُبُ مَلَابِسَهُ مِنَ الْخَيَّاطِ. لِذَلِكَ عِنْدَ صَاحِبَةِ الْمَحَلِّ عَمَلٌ كَثِيرٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ. يَطْلُبُ الزَّبَائِنُ مَلَابِسَ رَمَضَانَ وَالْعِيدِ. وَهُمْ يَأْتُونَ وَيَذْهَبُونَ طُولَ الْيَوْمِ. بَعْضُ الطَّلَبَاتِ لِلْمَلَابِسِ الْجَدِيدَةِ. وَأَكْثَرُهَا لِتَعْدِيلِ الْمَلَابِسِ الْجَاهِزَةِ. يَعْمَلُ الْخَيَّاطُونَ عَادَةً مِنَ الصَّبَاحِ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ. وَفِي رَمَضَانَ يَبْدَؤُونَ الْعَمَلَ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ. وَيَعْمَلُونَ إِلَى السَّاعَةِ الثَّالِثَةِ صَبَاحًا. وَهُمْ لَا يَأْخُذُونَ يَوْمَ رَاحَةٍ. فَالطَّلَبَاتُ كَثِيرَةٌ جِدًّا قَبْلَ الْعِيدِ. فِي اللَّيْلِ يَخِيطُ الْخَيَّاطُونَ مَلَابِسَ الْعِيدِ. وَيُقَصِّرُونَ الْمَلَابِسَ الطَّوِيلَةَ. وَيُوَسِّعُونَ الْمَلَابِسَ الضَّيِّقَةَ. هُمْ يُفَضِّلُونَ الْعَمَلَ طُولَ اللَّيْلِ. فَكُلُّ زَبُونٍ يُرِيدُ طَلَبَهُ قَبْلَ الْعِيدِ. فِي آخِرِ رَمَضَانَ يَأْخُذُ الزَّبَائِنُ مَلَابِسَهُمْ. وَفِي صَبَاحِ الْعِيدِ يَلْبَسُونَهَا. وَبَعْدَ الْعِيدِ يَرْجِعُ الْخَيَّاطُونَ إِلَى سَاعَاتِ الْعَمَلِ الْعَادِيَّةِ.
