On the shelves there are many bags. On every bag there is a number. On one side of the shop there is a long bench. Customers sit on it and wait. On the other side, the cobbler works. The cobbler is a young man from India. His father is a cobbler too. The young man has been in Kuwait for years. He stays in the shop most of the day. He knows everything about repairing shoes. And he knows shoemaking too. But he does not have a machine for this work. Repairing some shoes is impossible. Before the work, he tells the customer the truth. So the customers trust him. Today many people throw away their old shoes. And they do not bring them to the cobbler. So the cobbler earns little money. But he has many friends among the customers. And an elderly Kuwaiti lady brings him food. And he knows the taste
