فِي قَطَرَ حَدِيقَةٌ كَبِيرَةٌ اسْمُهَا حَدِيقَةُ الْغَرَّافَةِ. الصَّيْفُ فِي قَطَرَ حَارٌّ جِدًّا. لَكِنْ فِي الْحَدِيقَةِ مَسَارٌ مُكَيَّفٌ لِلْمَشْيِ وَالْجَرْيِ. طُولُهُ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ سِتِّمِئَةِ مِتْرٍ. وَالْحَرَارَةُ فِيهِ بَيْنَ ٢٦ وَ٢٨ دَرَجَةً. لِذَلِكَ يَأْتِي نَاسٌ كَثِيرُونَ إِلَى الْحَدِيقَةِ فِي الصَّيْفِ. مُعَاذٌ مِنَ السُّودَانِ، وَيَعِيشُ فِي قَطَرَ. هُوَ يَأْتِي إِلَى الْحَدِيقَةِ مَعَ صَدِيقٍ مِنْ بَلَدِهِ. يَأْتِي ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فِي الْأُسْبُوعِ عَلَى الْأَقَلِّ. يَقُولُ مُعَاذٌ: هَذَا مَكَانٌ جَيِّدٌ لِلْمَشْيِ وَالْجَرْيِ وَالرِّيَاضَةِ. وَعَدْنَانُ مِنْ عُمَانَ. هُوَ يَمْشِي وَيَجْرِي فِي الْحَدِيقَةِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ تَقْرِيبًا. يَقُولُ عَدْنَانُ: الْجَوُّ هُنَا لَطِيفٌ، وَالْحَدِيقَةُ نَظِيفَةٌ دَائِمًا. وَفِينُو مِنَ الْهِنْدِ، وَعَادَ إِلَى الْحَدِيقَةِ بَعْدَ وَقْتٍ طَوِيلٍ. يَقُولُ فِينُو: جِئْتُ الْيَوْمَ لِلْمَشْيِ. وَفِي الْحَدِيقَةِ أَمَاكِنُ لِلَعِبِ الْأَطْفَالِ. وَفِيهَا مَسَارٌ لِلدَّرَّاجَاتِ، وَمَكَانٌ لِتَأْجِيرِ الدَّرَّاجَاتِ. وَفِيهَا أَيْضًا مَقَاعِدُ فِي الظِّلِّ، وَأَرْبَعَةُ أَكْشَاكٍ لِلْأَكْلِ وَالْقَهْوَةِ. فَفِي حَدِيقَةِ الْغَرَّافَةِ، يَمْشِي النَّاسُ وَيَجْرُونَ فِي الصَّيْفِ، بَعِيدًا عَنِ الْحَرِّ.
In Qatar there is a big park called Al Gharrafa Park. Summer in Qatar is very hot. But in the park there is an air-conditioned track for walking and running. It is more than six hundred metres long. And the temperature on it is between 26 and 28 degrees. So many people come to the park in the summer. Maaz is from Sudan, and he lives in Qatar. He comes to the park with a friend from his country. He comes at least three times a week. Maaz says: this is a good place for walking, running and sport. And Adnan is from Oman. He walks and runs in the park almost every day. Adnan says: the air here is pleasant, and the park is always clean. And Venu is from India, and he came back to the park after a long time. Venu says: I came today to walk. The park also has play areas for children. It has a track for bicycles and a place to rent bicycles. It also has seats in the shade, and four kiosks for food and coffee. So in Al Gharrafa Park, people walk and run in the summer, away from the heat.
