In Jeddah, a Saudi group organizes a clean-up day. The group is called “Hejaz Ploggers”. On Saturday, more than five hundred people come to two beaches in Jeddah. All of them are volunteers. On the beach, the volunteers collect rubbish from the sand. And in the sea, twenty divers dive. They clean the sea floor. And in the end, everyone collects more than fifty thousand pieces of rubbish. The clean-up day in Jeddah is part of a world clean-up day in September. On this day, people clean up in one hundred and eighty countries. Ruaa Mahmoud organizes the work in the group. Ruaa says: we are a team, and we work together. After the work, the two beaches are clean. And now the group is planning other days.
