In the mountains of Jerash in Jordan there are many trees and flowers. These trees and flowers are good for honey. An’am lives there, and she is a beekeeper. She has forty beehives from a project of the FAO. In the project she studied beekeeping for fifteen days. In the first season her honey came to about sixty-five kilograms. She sells her honey at exhibitions and markets. And her income today is bigger than before. But hornets are a danger to her bees. And An’am teaches beekeeping to women from her village. She has helped about twenty women. And she wants a bigger business in the future.
