فِي مَكْتَبَةِ الصَّفَا لِلْفُنُونِ وَالتَّصْمِيمِ، فِي دُبَيَّ، وَرْشَةٌ لِلْأَطْفَالِ اسْمُهَا «الْأَيْدِي الْمُعَبِّرَةُ». وَالْوَرْشَةُ جُزْءٌ مِنْ مُخَيَّمٍ صَيْفِيٍّ. وَهِيَ يَوْمَ الْخَامِسِ وَالْعِشْرِينَ مِنْ يُولْيُو، مِنَ الْعَاشِرَةِ صَبَاحًا إِلَى الْوَاحِدَةِ ظُهْرًا. وَهِيَ لِلْأَطْفَالِ مِنْ سَبْعِ سَنَوَاتٍ إِلَى إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً. يُقَدِّمُ الْوَرْشَةَ الْفَنَّانُ فِيكْتُورْ سِيتَالِي. لَا يَسْمَعُ فِيكْتُورْ جَيِّدًا مُنْذُ كَانَ عُمْرُهُ ثَلَاثَ سَنَوَاتٍ. وَقَبْلَ سَبْعِ سَنَوَاتٍ، وَجَدَ طَرِيقَةً لِلتَّعْبِيرِ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ: الرَّسْمَ. وَشِعَارُهُ: «صَوْتِي يُسْمَعُ مِنْ خِلَالِ عَمَلِ يَدَيَّ.» وَهُوَ يُعَلِّمُ الْفَنَّ وَلُغَةَ الْإِشَارَةِ فِي مَدَارِسَ كَثِيرَةٍ فِي الْإِمَارَاتِ. فِي بِدَايَةِ الْوَرْشَةِ، سَيَتَعَرَّفُ الْأَطْفَالُ عَلَى لُغَةِ الْإِشَارَةِ الْأَمْرِيكِيَّةِ. وَهِيَ لُغَةٌ يَتَكَلَّمُ فِيهَا النَّاسُ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَصَابِعِهِمْ. مَثَلًا، يَتَعَلَّمُ الطِّفْلُ إِشَارَةً لِكَلِمَةٍ. ثُمَّ يَصْنَعُ هَذِهِ الْإِشَارَةَ بِيَدِهِ، وَيَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا جَيِّدًا. وَبَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، يَرْسُمُ يَدَهُ عَلَى الْوَرَقِ. فِي الْوَرْشَةِ تَمَارِينُ كَثِيرَةٌ لِلرَّسْمِ. يَرْسُمُ الْأَطْفَالُ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي أَشْكَالٍ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ: يَدٌ مَفْتُوحَةٌ، وَيَدٌ مُغْلَقَةٌ، وَإِصْبَعٌ يُشِيرُ. وَيَنْظُرُ كُلُّ طِفْلٍ إِلَى يَدِهِ جَيِّدًا وَهُوَ يَرْسُمُهَا. وَفِي نِهَايَةِ الْوَرْشَةِ، سَيَعْرِفُ الْأَطْفَالُ كَلِمَاتٍ وَجُمَلًا بِلُغَةِ الْإِشَارَةِ. فَالْيَدُ تَرْسُمُ، وَالْيَدُ تَتَكَلَّمُ أَيْضًا!
At the Al Safa Art and Design Library, in Dubai, there is a children’s workshop called “Expressive Hands”. The workshop is part of a summer camp. It is on 25 July, from ten in the morning to one in the afternoon. It is for children from seven to eleven years old. The workshop is led by the artist Victor Sitali. Victor has not heard well since he was three years old. Seven years ago, he found a way to express himself: drawing. His motto is: “My voice is heard through the work of my hands.” He teaches art and sign language in many schools in the UAE.
