فِي عَمَّانَ، عَاصِمَةِ الْأُرْدُنِّ، مَتْحَفٌ لِلْأَطْفَالِ. فِي هَذَا الْمَتْحَفِ، لَا يَنْظُرُ الْأَطْفَالُ إِلَى الْأَشْيَاءِ فَقَطْ. بَلْ يَلْعَبُونَ، وَيَلْمِسُونَ، وَيَبْنُونَ، وَيُفَكِّرُونَ. مَثَلًا، يَلْبَسُ الطِّفْلُ مَلَابِسَ رَائِدِ فَضَاءٍ، وَيَقِفُ عَلَى «الْقَمَرِ». فَالتَّعَلُّمُ هُنَا مُمْتِعٌ. لَكِنَّ بَعْضَ الْأَطْفَالِ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ أَنْ يَأْتُوا إِلَى عَمَّانَ. فَهُمْ يَعِيشُونَ بَعِيدًا، أَوْ لَيْسَ عِنْدَ عَائِلَاتِهِمْ مَالٌ كَافٍ. لِذَلِكَ، بَدَأَ الْمَتْحَفُ سَنَةَ ٢٠١٠ مُبَادَرَةً اسْمُهَا «مَتْحَفٌ لِلْجَمِيعِ». وَفِي سَنَةِ ٢٠١٢، بَدَأَ «مَتْحَفُ الْأَطْفَالِ الْمُتَنَقِّلُ». هَذَا الْمَتْحَفُ يُسَافِرُ فِي مَنَاطِقِ الْأُرْدُنِّ، لِكَيْ يَصِلَ إِلَى أَطْفَالٍ أَكْثَرَ. وَعِنْدَمَا يَصِلُ إِلَى مَكَانٍ، يَفْتَحُ أَبْوَابَهُ لِلْعَائِلَاتِ وَالطُّلَّابِ. وَالدُّخُولُ مَجَّانِيٌّ. هُنَاكَ، يَتَعَلَّمُ الْأَطْفَالُ بِطَرِيقَةٍ مُمْتِعَةٍ، وَيُجَرِّبُونَ الْأَشْيَاءَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ. قَبْلَ الْمَتْحَفِ الْمُتَنَقِّلِ، كَانَ عَلَى الْأَطْفَالِ أَنْ يُسَافِرُوا إِلَى عَمَّانَ. وَبَعْدَهُ، أَصْبَحَ الْمَتْحَفُ يَأْتِي إِلَيْهِمْ. وَلِلْمَتْحَفِ بَرْنَامَجٌ آخَرُ يُسَافِرُ أَيْضًا، اسْمُهُ «الْعُلُومُ فِي كُلِّ مَكَانٍ». فِيهِ عُرُوضٌ عِلْمِيَّةٌ لِلْأَطْفَالِ فِي الْمُسْتَشْفَيَاتِ وَالْمَدَارِسِ وَمُخَيَّمَاتِ اللَّاجِئِينَ. وَكَثِيرٌ مِنْ أَطْفَالِ الْمُسْتَشْفَيَاتِ وَالْمُخَيَّمَاتِ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا إِلَى الْمَدْرَسَةِ مُدَّةً طَوِيلَةً، بِسَبَبِ ظُرُوفِهِمْ. وَالْهَدَفُ أَنْ يُحِبَّ الْأَطْفَالُ الْعُلُومَ، وَيَسْأَلُوا عَنْهَا. وَهَكَذَا، يَلْعَبُ طِفْلٌ فِي مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ وَيَتَعَلَّمُ، مِثْلَ الْأَطْفَالِ فِي عَمَّانَ.
In Amman, the capital of Jordan, there is a museum for children. In this museum, children do not only look at things. Instead, they play, touch, build and think. For example, a child puts on an astronaut’s suit and stands on “the moon”. So learning here is fun. But some children cannot come to Amman. They live far away, or their families do not have enough money. So in 2010 the museum started an initiative called “Museum for All”. And in 2012, the “Mobile Children’s Museum” began. This museum travels around the regions of Jordan, to reach more children. And when it arrives somewhere, it opens its doors to families and students. And entry is free. There, children learn in a fun way, and try things with their hands. Before the mobile museum, children had to travel to Amman. And after it, the museum started coming to them.
